Read more as I talk about my experience at her event and for exclusive interview with her intern and Christina Yi herself !!

Christina Yi, an upcoming Fashion Designer from Seattle Washington to The Big Apple. Speaking for herself and her own vision, she provides an avant guard inspired line, Named Indelible.  Affordable prices and great quality clothing made all in the USA. Christina Yi will make it far in the industry!

A humbled sweet heart shared her garments with the public at The Bubble Lounge Located on W Broadway in NYC; an intimate charming location and perfect for the event. Loving NYC and hoping that NY loves her back! I know I do!

From models walking around in her designs to interns sharing their excitement for their boss's success, This event had become a memorable day for me.

I had a nice chat with the social media intern name Jenessy. As she showed my guest and I around, we stumble across conversation about being an intern.  I than asked:

-Me: "What advice can you give to young adults out there looking for an Internship?"
-Jenessy: "Definitely get to know the company you want to intern for. Theres nothing better than a little research to feel confident when in an interview. Thats what I did before working for Christina Yi and I love being here! "

Christina keeps her relationship with her interns and Co- workers very close. Making sure her team has a voice and an honest opinion.  She loves hearing their feedback and asking them for advice. LOVE IT !

Her jewelry is hand made. Simple yet CHIC. My favorite... Buildable' pieces. I love being able to layer different neckless with one another and Christina Yi has the perfect accessory to help me achieve that!

INTERVIEW WITH CHRISTINA YI!

Me: What and how did you get inspired to get your name and line out there?
Christina Yi: "I've always wanted to be a designer. Working in the industry, theres always ways to be creative on what you want to do. I always knew i wanted to speak for myself through my vision and have other people understand it.
Me: "I LOVE the whole ideal of  'goth/avant garde style to your designs. I feel that a lot of designers now and days try really hard to be different. Your line is simply yet BOLD and super chic, you can build these pieces or use them as a statement piece without being "too much".
Meeting your interns and how amazing they are, what is it exactly do you look for when hiring interns? What do you recommend for people looking to join an internship?
Christina Yi: "I look for dedication. They have to be as passionate as the line. I try to separate myself from my line. Yes its under my name but its still has its own entity. I want them to be creative too because i do involved them in things. I take an input in their opinion. I sometimes ask them what can we do next how can we be more creative and things. I want people to know that we are a team and that we are involved.
Me: "Thats Amazing! Communication is key! Where did you originally come from?"
Christina Yi: " I'm from Seattle Washington  but i went to school in Chicago and then got myself over here (NYC) since its the Fashion Capital!
Me: "Im so happy, i hope you really go far in the industry! You're going far i see it. It was awesome meeting you Thank you !!! "
Christina Yi: "It was amazing talking to you and thank you !!"

Christina is at the verge of going VIRIAL ! Christina's 'on the edge' designs are being recognized from Fashion bloggers to Lucky Magazine! Her success will one day be WORLD WIDE. You go girl! xoxo
